No Light Show for 2015

Howdy Everyone!

I posted this on the Facebook page but wanted to get it on the website as well. Due to many other projects that had to take precedence this year, we are taking a year off from the light show. With that said… MNHarmonyLights have been working very hard over the last couple weeks to get their show all ready for this year and it’s right across the street! You can check them out at or

All of us at Lights, Christmas, Action! wish you and your’s a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous 2016.

See you next Christmas with a new show!

12/22/2014 Show Rained out again… :(

Unfortunately it’s still too wet to run the show tonight. Things look like they will cool down and freeze so hopefully we are good for tomorrow night. Sorry about the inconvenience…

12/21/2014 Show Rained Out :(

Hi All, Sorry to say that with the warm weather and rain we had today we will not be running the show tonight. Water and electricity don’t go well together. Check back for updates…

Show is Live for 2014!

We started the show this evening! After launching I found a few things that need fixing and hope to get that done tomorrow. For showtimes and directions see the “Info and Show Times” tab at the top of the page.

We hope you enjoy the show this year. Leave a comment with what you liked or didn’t like.

Also, Please remember that we are collecting money and canned goods for the local food shelf. If you stop by please consider bringing a donation. The donation box can be found across the street at MNHarmonyLights!

Merry Christmas from all of us at Lights, Christmas, Action!

Progress as promised…

We got a lot of work done today. Still have a lot to do before it snows on Monday.

Some plans fail, some succeed!

Wow, what a cluster… We attemepted to get Santa and the reindeer on the roof last weekend but after a valiant effort and almost losing Rudolph it was decided that they will be safer parked in the front yard this year. We did get to complete one leaping arch and confirm that they will in fact work well this year so I guess we win some and lose some. We should have relatively nice weather this coming weekend so We are hoping to get a lot done. It will be windy and cold but no rain or snow in the forecast. If we can keep to the current planned schedule and if weather cooperates it’s looking good for a Black Friday show kickoff this year. Check back here for updates on the actual launch date with show times.

Controller number 6 is done!

Finished putting together our 6th controller. This year we will have 96 channels for the show. It’s getting so close to setup time I hope we will have everything ready. Here is a picture of lucky controller number 6.

Making Progress!

It has been a very busy year for us and we weren’t able to get as much done over the summer as we would have liked. We toyed with the idea of taking the year off but have pulled things together and are making progress for this years show. The new nativity has been assembled and the programming is pretty much done. We are working to have as much ready as possible to start setting up on November 1st. The goal is to start the show on Black Friday but don’t be surprised if that gets delayed to December 1st. Check back here for more updates! We will try to get pictures as things get setup. Now back to work!

Half the year gone already…

Wow, can you believe that half the year has already slipped by us? We just started looking at our plans for 2014 and will have a different look for 2014. I’m trying to simplify the setup and tear down and minimize the use of extension cords. We will still have the same great lights they will just be organized differently. We are adding some new pieces for 2014 as well.

We hope your summer is going well and that you safely enjoy Independence Day!
